ABOUT uplift

We met in college, both scientists. We dated for 8 years and (yay!), we got married at Locust Grove in New York State. It was an amazing day. After living in Boston, Miami, and Brooklyn, we moved to Connecticut and added to our family by 3.  We started UPLIFT part-time, after shooting a friend's wedding (until this point, Jade had shot primarily fine art work). Jade made the leap to leave science and has been full-time with UPLIFT ever since (over 10 years!). Tim is and always will be her partner in life and work.  41.50 N, 73.96 W are her last known coordinates at a cubicle.

That is the name of the game for us.  We are a plan ahead kind of team - all the details are thought of, fleshed out, and written down before the day arrives. We know that for you to be able to 'be you,' you have to have a few minutes to relax and let the day sink in.  We don't want your fake smile, or some silly poses that you did at your sister's wedding 5 years ago; We want the real deal, the real you.  That is what makes the best photograph.
